Little crochet bunny FREE PATTERN

Hi! Welcome to my blog full of the free amigurumi patterns!
Here you can find a crochet pattern for the cutest Easter bunny ever.


YOU WILL NEED

↠ sport weight yarn in gray, pink, white and green colors (I used Yarn and Colors Must-Have yarn);
↠ crochet hook 2.00 mm;
↠ stuffing;
↠ scissors, sewing needle, black embroidery thread;
↠ white felt, glue.

The size of the toy is 7 inches with indicated materials.
The size may vary if you choose another weight of yarn and crochet hook number.

ABBREVIATIONS

The pattern is written in English, using US terminology.

ch - chain
sc - single crochet
inc - increase
dec - decrease
sl st - slip stitch
BLO - back loops only
FLO - front loops only
[number] - a number of stitches in the round

You should know how to crochet: chains, slip stitch, single crochet, increase, decrease, crochet in the back or front loops only, crochet in rounds.

HEAD/BODY

Start at the top of the head.
RND 1: Ch 3, 1 sc in the second ch from hook (pic.1), 3 sc in next st (pic.2), continue on the other side of the foundation chains (pic.3), inc in next st [6]


RND 2: inc in next st (pic.4), sc in next st, inc in next 2 st, sc in next st, inc in next st [10] (pic.5)

RND 34-39: sc in next 36 st [36] - 6 rounds
RND 40: sc in next 34 st (+ - 1 st, it should be in the middle of the head (pic.16)). Do not finish this round. Don't fasten off, continue with leg 1. 

LEG 1

RND 1: sc in next 18 st, skip next 18 st [18]
RND 2: start in first st of the previous round (pic.17), sc in next 18 st [18]



RND 3: (dec, sc in next 7 st) * repeat 2 times [16]
RND 4: sc in next 16 st [16] (pic.18)
RND 5: (dec, sc in next 6 st) * repeat 2 times [14]
RND 6: sc in next 14 st [14]
RND 7: (dec, sc in next 5 st) * repeat 2 times [12]
RND 8: sc in next 12 st [12]
RND 9: (dec, sc in next 4 st) * repeat 2 times [10]
RND 10: dec 5 times.
Fasten off. Leave a tail approx. 15 cm. (pic.19-20) 
With a sewing needle, insert the end of the yarn through front loops of all stitches of the last round. Pull all together at once and weave in the yarn end. (pic.21-23)
Stuff the body and leg 1.






LEG 2

Join yarn in the first skipped stitch in RND 1 of the Leg 1 (pic.25).
RND 1: sc in next 18 st [18]
RND 2: start in first st of the previous round, sc in next 18 st [18]




RND 3: (dec, sc in next 7 st) * repeat 2 times [16] (pic.26)
RND 4: sc in next 16 st [16]
RND 5: (dec, sc in next 6 st) * repeat 2 times [14]
RND 6: sc in next 14 st [14]
RND 7: (dec, sc in next 5 st) * repeat 2 times [12]
RND 8: sc in next 12 st [12]
RND 9: (dec, sc in next 4 st) * repeat 2 times [10]
Stuff the leg 2. (pic.27)
RND 10: dec 5 times.
Fasten off. Leave a tail approx. 15 cm.
With a sewing needle, insert the end of the yarn through front loops of all stitches of the last round.
Pull all together at once and weave in the yarn end.
With an additional cut of yarn and needle sew up a hole between the legs. (pic.28-29)




EARS (2 pc.)

RND 1: Ch 2 (pic.31), 6 sc in second ch from hook [6] (pic.32)
RND 2: (inc in next st, sc in next st) * repeat 3 times [9]


RND 3: sc in next 9 st [9] (pic.34)
RND 4: (inc in next st, sc in next 2 st) * repeat 3 times [12]
RND 5: sc in next 12 st [12]
RND 6: (inc in next st, sc in next 3 st) * repeat 3 times [15]
RND 7: sc in next 15 st [15]
RND 8: (inc in next st, sc in next 4 st) * repeat 3 times [18]
RND 9-14: sc in next 18 st [18] - 6 rounds (pic.36)



RND 15: (dec, sc in next 4 st) * repeat 3 times [15]

Do not stuff the ears. 
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. (pic.37).
Fold the circle to a semicircle and then fold it again. With a needle sew up the ears (pic.38-39)


ARMS (2 pc.)

RND 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook [6] (pic.41)
RND 2: (inc in next st, sc in next 2 st) * repeat 2 times [8]
RND 3-13: sc in next 8 st [8] - 11 rounds
Do not stuff the details.
Fasten off. Leave a long tail for sewing. (pic.43)




TAIL

RND 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook [6] (pic.44)
RND 2: (inc in next st, sc in next st) * repeat 3 times [9]
RND 3: (dec, sc in next st) * repeat 3 times [6]
Stuff the detail.
Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing. (pic.45)




FLOWER (3 pc.) 

Сrochet with pink yarn
RND 1: Ch 2, 5 sc in second ch from a hook
RND 2: FLO of round 1. 1 sl st (pic.49), (3 ch, 2 sl st by the chains (pic.50), 1 sl st in the same loop of round 1, 3 ch, 2 sl st by the chains (pic.51), 1 sl st in the next loop of round 1) * repeat 4 times, 3 ch, 2 sl st by the chains, 1 sl st in the same loop of round 1, 3 ch, 2 sl st by the chains (pic.52)
RND 3: BLO of round 1 (pic.53). 1 sl st, (3 ch, 2 sl st by the chains, 1 sl st in the same loop of round 1, 3 ch, 2 sl st by the chains, 1 sl st in the next loop of round 1) * repeat 4 times, 3 ch, 2 sl st by the chains, 1 sl st in the same loop of round 1, 3 ch, 2 sl st by the chains
Fasten off.





LEAF (5 pc.) 

Сrochet with green yarn (pic.58-60)
6 ch, start in the second ch from a hook, 5 sl st. 
Fasten off.



BASE 

Сrochet with white yarn

Fasten off.

ASSEMBLY


Embroider the nose and eyes on the head as shown on pics 46-48.
Put the flowers and leaves to the base as shown on pics 62-66.




Take the felt piece 4.25 x 4.25 inches size.
Fold the felt and glue or sew up the edges of it as shown on pics 67-70.


Glue or sew up the flowers to the felt as shown on pics 71-72.
